While routing around in our attic I came across some of my mother's oil painting things from 52 years ago. I applaud her for participating in a Drawing & Painting course at the local elementary school (the same one my brother's and I attended in the 1970s). At 24, she was still a 'newlywed' with a one-year old at home and seventh month's pregnant with her second son, Douglas!! GO MOM! I know I get my artistic-ness from you, and maybe a little from Dad, too!
Amazingly, some of her oil paints are still usable! I look forward to using them in upcoming projects. :)
