I recently made these cream-filled cupcakes for a holiday get-together-- They're one of my old-time favorites. For cupcake recipe click here. Because the chocolate cupcakes have a gooey filling, they really don't NEED frosting, but because I wanted these to 'look good', I added this delicious (NEW to me) marshmallow buttercream frosting. It's my new favorite frosting!!!! For frosting recipe click here. What treats have you made lately?
The multi-colored irises in our area are especially pretty this year--
so intricate, delicate, and lovely... like a poem.

My thoughts and prayers are with every service person, past and present, and the families of those who served and serve our country so valiantly. You are loved! Godspeed and peace be with you. Your sacrificial service is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU.
Over the weekend, we adopted a precious little mini-lop named Mac.
He's friendly, sweet, spunky, and captured our hearts immediately.
We are thrilled to have this new addition to our family!
Received this recipe in my 'Inbox' from Kristen at CookiesCakesPiesOhMy yesterday and decided to make these yesterday afternoon. It's an easy recipe, different, AND DELICIOUS! (I added a few semi-sweet chocolate chips to mine as well as the white chips.) Here's the link to Kristen's recipe! She has some awesome recipes on her website. Thank you, Kristen!
