The Unknown Soldier

Spring Flowers from Willowwood Arboretum, Chester, NJ I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.... People think pleasing God is all God care about. But any fool living in the world can see it always trying to please us back. I'm entering this poem in the "Poetry & Short Story Contest" on the Creative Christian Writer website. They're accepting entries through tomorrow, May 18th if you'd like to enter. UPDATE: I won 2nd place!
