My friend Susan Miller of Sue's Nook fame created this beautiful herbal fairy rock garden and wrote this delightful poem to go along with it!  Check out Sue's other thoughts, poems, stories and more... here!
Dancing with Fairies
 by Susan Witmer Miller

Are you feeling sad
And a little blue?
Come along with me --
there's a place for you.

Follow the rainbow,
Tiptoe past the moon,
And glide over stars --
You'll arrive there soon.

When you reach that land --
Worries disappear
Sadness turns to joy
No more hurts or fear.

Snuggle with a rabbit
Play tag with a deer
Dance with a humming bird
Stay a day or a year.

In the land of fairies
Your youth will return.
As your cares melt away,
You'll dance among the ferns.

Stroll among the herbs --
Daydream by the pond --
With this peaceful place --
You'll form a lasting bond.

When your visit ends
You'll feel refreshed and free
And grateful for your journey
To the land of Fantasy!

STEALING ADDA

A Head Over Heels Inspirational Romance

The summer heat is a great excuse to take a rest and read a good book!

I just finished "Stealing Adda" by Tamara Leigh and LOVED it!  It's a contemporary, inspirational romance, and FUNNY! The heroine is a famous author in her mid-thirties and the totally swoon-worthy hero is a book publisher in his 40s. Tamara Leigh is a best known as a USA TODAY BEST-SELLING AUTHOR OF MEDIEVAL ROMANCE. Her books are available online or the local library.
Here's Tamara Leigh's website... I hope you enjoy her books as much as I am!

SPLITTING HARRIET
A Head Over Heels Inspirational Romance

ONCE UPON A TIME, I WAS A REBEL.
AND I HAVE THE TATTOOS TO PROVE IT.

After finishing Stealing Adda, I read Splitting Harriet by Tamara Leigh. Harriet works at a church, and having worked at a church for several years, it was especially interesting to me. LOVED it on many levels... Highly recommend!!

Day 1020:  A Photo A Day • The Bunny Days of Summer

My art room doesn't have air conditioning, so I've been spending as little time as possible up here. :o)  I was asked to speak at our church's small group this Saturday. The topic is 'animals.' Should be fun! Evan asked me to have a t-shirt made for the talk with Mac's picture on it, so I chose the photo (below). I had to call customer service at vistaprint.com because I made a mistake on the order. When the friendly agent saw the artwork he said, "OoOoOohhh, what a cute bunny!"  I couldn't agree more.
