“The day the Lord created hope was probably the same day he created Spring.”– Bernard Williams
It's always a thrill when our yard is in bloom!
This little fella made an appearance, too!
I revived this 2013 photo of cherry blossoms taken in our backyard with some tools in Photoshop to get this!

Early last week we were thrilled to see a pair of geese with five baby goslings at the Swayze Mill Park! Then we didn't see them for several days, and after seeing a kid throwing rocks at them, we feared the worst. But on Mother's Day, I came across the little family right next to the walking path, and couldn't resist talking a video! This was an extra sweet, as Mom referred to us kids as her 'birds', lol.
As my pursuit of creating art digitally is expanding I googled, "Top Digital Artists" today. This guy came up! If you have time, it's a beautiful, short, multiple-award winning film about this 97 year-old artist, his life and art. Enjoy!
The lovely poem Hal mentions (below) is by New Jerseyan, Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918)
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
Thank you for landing on my blog! This a collection of photos, art, poems, and other creative stuff on my life journey. Sort of a visual diary.
