We keep Mac separate from the kitties in our kitchen. Of all our cats, Purr-Tater is the first one who’s not afraid of bunnies, and loooooves to be in the kitchen with Mac. He genuinely “comes to life” when they’re together. Once we open the door, he gleefully makes a bee-line for Mac and gives him about 15 head bumps, rolls around on the floor with him purring loudly, and generally tries to get him to play with him as if he were another cat, LOL. Hobbs, our other cat, is more dominant and sometimes bullies Tater. Since Tater’s such a sweet, quiet guy-- it’s so great to see him let loose and have fun with Mac. Of course, we watch closely that Tater doesn’t hurt Mac with his claws or teeth. So far so good!
Apparently bunny love runs in the family!
