Lilacs-- Taken at Willowwood Arboretum, Mother's Day 2013
My husband bought me this miniature rose plant at Walmart around Valentine's Day for around $2.99.
It is still blooming on our kitchen windowsill and giving us immeasurable pleasure!
I'm very honored to be one of the Top 12 Finalists in the
2013 Willowwood Arboretum Magnolia Photo Contest
If you live in the area and have never been to their gardens, it's worth the drive!
This photo of one of their magnificent magnolia tree blossoms was taken a few weeks ago.

"It is not recorded of any rose that it failed of its bee, though obtained in specific instances through scarlet experience.
The career of flowers differs from ours only in inaudibleness."

An art friend, Jody, recently shared these with me. Aren't they cute? I especially like the lion...They're Barbara's Snackanimals. They disappeared quickly after this shot! Thanks, Jody!
Thank you for landing on my blog! This a collection of photos, art, poems, and other creative stuff on my life journey. Sort of a visual diary.
