Typical morning -- Make a cup of coffee, clean up Tyler's area while listening to Joel, pet Tyler, clean up after Tyler some more. You can download Joel's complete message, "Move Forward" for free on ITunes!
OK, so my videographer skills have a ways to go! YAWN ALERT: If you're brave enough to watch again, here's another dazzling video of Tyler dozing. Note at the end how his nose keeps moving when everything else is still. This fascinates me and prompted my (WIP) "The Nose Just Goes" children's poem. Fun Friday Suggestion: Pet an animal! And if you don't have access to an animal, imagine petting one... :) A merry heart does good, like medicine. Proverbs 17:22 Tyler-- our 10-year old house bunny-- has recovered fully from his surgery. No more antibiotic shots...HALLELLUJAH!!!! But he's been incontinent in recent months requiring daily cleaning of towels, mats, floors and himself... .[Note towels waiting for the washer in the background.] While I was cleaning Tyler's towels yesterday, he was in irresistibly-cute mode-- dozing and 'churggling' (a gentle teeth-grinding bunnies do, which indicates they're happy and content --we think). Below is a pretty boring video of this. Make that--VERY boring... p.s. Aunt Fern, Tyler says, "Hi!" and "I miss you! xo xo" I had outpatient surgery yesterday in Morristown, NJ, and Hey!-- There just happened to be this really cute bakery across the street. Though I wasn't very hungry, I was really curious to see their stuff.. :) We purchased this to eat at home. Isn't it gorgeous? If you're in the area, it's a lovely bakery-- Swiss Chalet Bakery. So, there's two of us recovering at home right now... Here's our little healed bunny boy, dozing...
We've been visiting Tyler daily (Animal Clinic of Morris Plains) as he continue to undergo treatment to rid his body of infection. We brought in his favorite vegetables and it was great to see him gobble up the organic baby kale. Thanks all for your prayers for his complete recovery. As you can tell, he's a daddy's bun....!
This adorable cat lives at our vet's office! The other day we watched her curl up and take a nap behind the receptionist's printer! Our little baby boy bunny, Tyler, is staying in their treatment center now receiving post-surgery care for an abscessed tooth. I won't share images of his wound site as it is too disturbing, but here are some shots of his healthy side when we visited yesterday. We are praying for a swift healing from the infection, which is still working it's way out of his body. Thanks ALL for your prayers! We love Dr. Paul Sedlacek and his staff and can't recommend his practice highly enough - Animal Clinic of Morris Plains. They are giving Tyler excellent care!
