I follow some awesome food blogs and get recipes delivered to my 'in-box' each day! It was fun to try 3 new cookie recipes this year, and I highly recommend ALL of them! Since we're on the subject of baking, I thought I'd share my Christmas cookie poem... Merry Christmas!   We found this little bunny cookie cutter last weekend at a local antique store...  It reminds us of Mac! :-)  Homemade brownie treats for a recent gathering  Had fun decorating these!  Collage for my beloved mother, Mary Anne  My Mom has a love for decorated sugar cookies going back to her childhood. They've become a 'specialty' of mine, partly because I know she likes them so much! :o) Hi, Mom!!!    Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Mint Chocolate M&M cookies I followed this recipe (click here) My cookies came out a little flat, so I decided to spruce them up a bit by dipping them in melted white chocolate chips and spring sprinkles. Thankfully, these were a hit at our youth group! by Kathleen Rupff If God were a baker You’d be his “special of the day” His top-secret ingredient His favorite flavor His cherished recipe You’d be the chocolate chips The “only the finest ingredients” You’d be – organic If God were a baker Every day would be a special occasion To share you with others He’d make you for friends And mail you to distant relatives He’d have you first thing in the morning And last thing at night He’d rave about you all day long And finish each sweet crumb With a sigh of satisfaction If God were a baker He'd share your goodness with the world You’d bring healing and wholeness Wherever you went Your tenderness lighting up the darkness Your aroma reviving the faint Your sprinkles bringing laughter Your frosting making dreams come true And joy would fill every belly  Tyler with his 'prayer shawl' Since Tyler's health crisis began in June 2013, our vet and staff have been a great source of expertise, knowledge, and support to us! We love and greatly appreciate Dr. Paul Sedlacek and the whole staff of Animal Clinic of Morris Plains!! They specialize in 'exotics', of which bunnies are included. I recently made them some cookies as a long-overdue THANK YOU!!   |
