These "kitchen" roses, in a little planter on our windowsill, are just so beautiful to me.
Entrancing in their delicacy, yet so fragile in their longevity... like so many things.
I could look at them all day...What a joy!
“What a lovely thing a rose is!"
The snowdrops are here!
There's only a small window of time that this little patch of snowdrops appear in our backyard every year.
I can't believe they're here already! It's still FREEZing outside! :)

The love of my life and I were matched on eharmony.com seven years ago today -- March 1! I was 41 at the time. The greatest blessing of my life (besides salvation through Jesus Christ) is truly the gift of marriage to Evan. If you've experienced rejection, hurts, and disappointments in relationships and are believing for a spouse - be encouraged! God is always faithful, and He's able to heal your heart, make you whole, and prepare you for that special someone. God is a God of restoration, and He will make up for all the lost years, lost relationships, lost peace and joy. My only regret is that I didn't rest in His love and promises sooner... it would have saved me a lot of tears! For a super-encouraging message on restoration, click here. I'm still developing my love relationship with God, and consider it life's greatest and most fulfilling adventure... Now it's just better (and funner) to share the journey with Evan! :-)
