This little marbled orb weaver spider has been living outside our living room window for about three weeks now. She (I think) seems to be thriving amidst all the different weather conditions. Pretty amazing how intricately she's made-- but I'm glad she's OUTside!
Of course, the kitties have to see what's going on!
GUEST PHOTOGRAPHER: Harry S. Jakubowski (My Dad), age 28
I came across these images on my journey through Dad's slides. He took these interesting shots on a visit to the Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C. in 1963. That's my brother John C. and Dad's parents, visiting from Dunkirk, NY in the shots. Perhaps Mom stayed home as she was very pregnant with Doug?
Thank you for landing on my blog! This a collection of photos, art, poems, and other creative stuff on my life journey. Sort of a visual diary.
